Outstanding Community Organization: OneJax Recognized as Beacon of Hope at Unity Classic

OneJax is deeply honored to receive the Outstanding Community Organization Award at the inaugural Unity Classic, an event embodying unity, hope, and the unbreakable spirit of historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). This recognition, presented during a week marked by both meaningful celebration and unsettling threats toward HBCUs nationwide, affirms OneJax’s mission to foster respect, understanding, and connection across differences in our city and beyond.  

The Outstanding Community Organization Award is a testament to OneJax’s commitment to building bridges among people of all backgrounds.  The Unity Classic is not just another football game, it is a living symbol of hope in the face of despair, civility in the face of discord, and togetherness in the face of hate. OneJax stands in solidarity with HBCUs and community leaders striving toward these ideals.
